We want your appointment to be worry-free just as much as you do.
That’s why we’ll spend the time to ensure you completely understand your dental insurance coverage (“benefits”), and get your claim handled properly.
Every insurance plan is different. The treatments you’re covered for, your annual maximums, and percentage of coverage are unique to your personal or family’s situation.
If it doesn’t all make sense to you, don’t worry…
it makes sense to us!
We’ll take a close look at your plan and ensure you’re utilizing your coverage in the best way possible, based on the treatment that you’re receiving, and help you with the cumbersome process of getting reimbursed.
Although we don’t direct bill, you shouldn’t be worried. With direct deposit available from most insurance companies, your reimbursement payment can be delivered to your bank account in just a few business days.
If you choose to pay by credit card, you won’t have to be out-of-pocket at all, and can even earn reward points! If you’re not sure how claims and reimbursements work, or how soon you can expect reimbursement from your provider, we can clearly explain your plan so there’s no uncertainty or worry on your part.
To aid in our understanding of your unique coverage, please bring in your insurance plan details to your appointment. We work with all plans, and by seeing the documentation we can ensure that you receive the maximum coverage for the treatment you need.
For specific details related to your coverage year, or current availability of coverage, we can tell you exactly what to ask your insurance company and your specific details can be saved in your file.
If you’re deciding on major treatment, we can submit a pre-authorized claim to determine what your coverage will be, before your treatment. This will ease your mind ahead of time, so you know what your expected expense will be.
You have better things to do than fill out and submit insurance claims, which is why we’ll do it for you!
We work with all insurance plans, and in many cases we can electronically submit your claim, or even mail it for you. We want to take the hassle out of the situation for you, and this will allow you to get on with your day quicker and without worry.
For your convenience, we can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit / Interac, or cash.
With the exception of Invisalign treatment, we are not able to offer payment plans for dental treatment, however some patients prefer to make deposit payments in advance for major work and we can help you confidently manage that.
Our Treatment Coordinator will always be able to assist you in completing your insurance claim, and with most insurance providers you can expect reimbursement within a few business days.
By closely assisting you in understanding and managing your dental insurance, we hope you’ll find the overall experience at Alpha Dental Care to be that much more convenient for you.
Note: every insurance provider is different and this page makes no guarantees about when you can expect reimbursement once you’ve submitted a claim to your provider. For specific information, and to set up direct deposit (recommended) with your provider, please contact them directly. If you’re curious what you need to ask your provider, or have questions for us ahead of time, we would be happy to hear from you!
